Monika Nieborek

Artist Statement
My name is Monika Nieborek. I was born in Poland, but now live
with my family in Surprise, Arizona.
My journey with art started back in Poland. I was drawn to nature and imitating
it through art via unique textures and colors. In 1994, I moved to the USA
and lived in New York City and South Amboy, New Jersey. There I was exposed
to incredible artists, galleries and museums. This inspired me to continue
my studies, and in 2004 I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from Middlesex
College in New Jersey. Afterwards, I moved to Surprise, Arizona, where I have
since specialized in textured paintings and collages, as well as interior
design. I also have created several collections of The trail of Painted Ponies.
I also enjoy teaching art to children ages 3 to 12 years old.
My works are displayed in exhibitions and galleries in New Jersey and New
York. One of my collages has recently been accepted into the 23th annual Exhibition
of Miniature Art 2007 in Chambersburg, PA and will be on exhibition from November
2 2007 to January 11 2008.
I hope to continue my wonderful adventure with art for the rest of my life.
