Jay McCarten
Jay McCarten is an award-winning Canadian artist living in Whitby, Ontario.
He has exhibited extensively in both private and public galleries across North America, and his work is in collections throughout the world.
Jay studied
in Toronto at the Ontario College of Art, and has worked in various fields
of design including interior, exterior, theatre, and in home décor.
He is currently working as a senior colour technician in the construction
industry.
“Presently I find myself drawn to nature and the emotions created when
I am within a forest. Out of a perceptively indiscriminate collision of form,
a long established and powerful system of order pervades. It is bigger than
our human experience.”
