Evan Roy Dahlke is a native Californian, born in 1970, who has lived in the Inland Empire all of his life.
After many years, in the painting industry, Evan found an outlet for his artistic side in
the realm of faux finishing and, since 2006, abstract landscape painting a.k.a. “Abscape”.
The beauty of God’s Creation, His constant love and guidance, and the Bible are the
inspiration for Evan’s work.
Evan’s technique consists of using a variety of environment friendly products, trowels, brushes
and palette knives to create the perfect texture and color blending until the final vision is complete.
Evan’s art is often sustainable because he uses recycled boards and panels from
other projects that he has worked on. Evan is a member of the Redlands Art Association
and the Orange County Fine Arts Association.
