You’re not going to hear any flowery statements from me about my art. No soul searching. Nothing that leaves you thinking…”WHAT?” And no third person references, though if my Bio ever shows up in a magazine somewhere I reserve the right to use it!I love to paint. I love the process of it and not knowing exactly where a piece is going to end up. I work mostly in acrylic and create mostly abstracts. I occasionally use watercolor and ink. I occasionally create things that are a bit more representational…mostly landscape. I also love to build my own supports, whether it’s stretching my own canvas or creating a box on which to paint.
I’m not completely without an art education but I’m mostly self-taught. I have few regrets in my life…but if I were able to go back in time and whisper into my own ear at the age of 17, I would encourage me to get a fine arts degree. But it’s never too late, huh?
